IEEEHU was founded in the academic year 2002-2003. Since then, the Branch has been one of the most active branches established in IEEE Jordan Section. IEEE Jordan Section in turn occupies a significant situate among many other sections in Region 8 - the Middle East, Africa and Europe. The Hashemite Student branch has, approximately, more than 150 members of different Sections and grades. !
The strategy of IEEEHU SB is to handle a series of activities, facilitate services for its members allowing them to cope up with the new technologies emerging everywhere. IEEEHU tries to fasten the innovation in technology by addressing and motivating everyone who has interest in technology, science and engineering. We help them get ahead of their boundaries, stop restricting themselves with university and allow them to carry themselves to a national and international level.
Eventually, all of what preceded is to give our members a hand in charting their expected careers and catching better jobs after graduation.
We want our Team members to believe and attach to the idea and not the people, the idea of "Advancing Technology for Humanity" , because people come and go,but ideas last forever!
Thinking for today is good, but Thinking for Tomorrow is Great.
We aim to decrease the gap between what we study and our future jobs, also, provide it for our participants.
